EVM Jobs and Job Management
Launch Undo Purpose. Execute a specified executable on a specific host,
but only during an undo job.
Output. User application is initiated on the specified host.
Remarks. Place the
user command inside double quotes,
since this command may contain spaces and special
characters.
Mount Unit Purpose. Ask a remote host to mount a LUN.
Output. None.
Remarks. Sets access to the desired host to make the unit
visible to the correct connections.
Mount Volume Purpose. Ask a remote host to mount a BCV, which may be
a set of physical logical unit numbers (LUNs).
Output. None.
Remarks. Sets access to the desired host to make the unit
visible to the correct connections.
Normalize Unit Purpose. Wait for the underlying mirrorset of a unit to
become normal.
Output. Source unit is normalized.
Remarks. Applies only to clones implemented by mirror
copy.
Normalize Volume Purpose. Wait for the underlying mirrorsets of a volume to
become normal.
Output. Source units are normalized.
Remarks. Applies only to clones implemented by mirror
copy.
Pause Purpose. Suspend processing and place the job in a
stopped state.
Output. Job is paused.
Remarks. Job remains in stopped state until a continue
command is issued. If you decide not to continue past a
pause step, you must first abort the job and then undo it.
