EVM Jobs
The EVM New Job page allows the user to define a job that contains any number of
job operations in any sequence desired.
IMPORTANT: Simply creating a job does not imply that the job is valid or will run successfully.
EVM jobs are essentially scripts, written in the EVM macro language, that define all of the
operations in the job. If the operations are not specified in the correct order or if all of the
necessary parameters are not specified, the job will not work.
EVM Job Templates and Examples
The EVM job templates included on the EVM New Job page provide predefined
operational sequences for some common job types. These templates can be useful as
examples when creating your own jobs. Available EVM job templates are:
• Clone mount
• Clone suspend mount
• Simple clone
• Simple snapshot
