1 Introduction The HP StorageWorks e2400-FC 4G Fibre Channel Interface Controller provides bidirectional connectivity for six Fibre Channel (FC) ports in Fibre Channel Switched Fabric (FC-SW) and Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL) environments.
• Reset hole—forces a manual reboot of the FC interface controller. Use a pen or paper clip to press the button (located behind the hole). CAUTION: Rebooting the controller during an ongoing data backup, restore, or other data transfer process can result in a disruption of that process and a loss of data. Before pressing the Reset button, visually inspect the activity LEDs of all I/O ports on the FC interface controller to verify that no data is being transferred.
