Reinstall the Interface Manager card

Noting proper orientation, insert the Interface Manager card into the
same location from which it was removed (cluster shown here). Align
the card with the guides and slide it into the library. Push the ejection
handles to the inside to fully seat the card. Tighten th e captive screws.
Reconnect the c able

Plug the cable into the Interface M anager card exactly as it was
plugged in previously.

Verify that the p
ower cables are firmly in place. Flip the two breake r
switches on (to t
he right) at the power distribution unit. On the front of
the library, pu
sh the power button to turn on the library (the button will
depress) . The l
ibrary will take 20 minutes or more to boot, depending
on the configuration.
Verify that th
e current state of the library that appears in the System
State display
on the OC P is “Online, OK”.
NOTE:
To change the cabinet state, press Ops on the Hom e screen of
the OCP to access the Operations screen.
V erify the library status

Look at the status LEDs on the Interface Ma nager card. The red LED
should be off and the green LED should be blinking or solid.
NOTE:
Be careful in identifying LEDs because the actual orientation of
the Interface Manager card may be different from what is shown
here.
Update the firmware
After replacing the CompactFlash card, you must update the Interface
Manager card firmware and reconfigure the Interface Man ager card
settings. You can update the firmware with either the CLI or the GUI.
CAUTION:
This 1 G
B CompactFlash and the 340252-003 Interface Manager
card require firmware version I2 31 or later to operate. Do not
downgrade the firmware to an earlier version.
