5. Lift the robot un
til the counterweight rests on the box.
CAUTION:
In the next step, the robot will be heavy (17 lbs or 7.7 kg). Be
sure to hold it securely.
6. Hold onto the robot and detach the counterweight cable from the
back, right c orner of the robot.

7. Low
er the robot and gently set it on the library floor.
8. Remove the two 3/
16-inch Allen-head screws from the
counterweight.

9. Slide the counterweight and the box it is sitting on forward so you
can access the counterweight latch.

10. Detach the counterweight cable from the counterweight latch.

11 . Remove the original c ounterweight cable from the library.
12. Attach the replacement counterweight cable to the counterweight
latch.
