NO TE: This installation process
assumes the tape drives have already
been installed.
Connect the FC cable coming from each tape
drive to a TD# port on the IC. Attach a label
to each end of the cable to mark the port
designations.

Plug an FC cable (not supplied) into the FC 0
port on the IC. Plug the other end into either the
host bus adapter (HBA) port on a host, or into the
FC switch that is connected to the host. Label both
ends of the cable.

If a second host is available, plug an FC cable
(not supplied) into the FC 1 port on the IC. Plug
the other end into the HBA port on the host or
into the FC switch. Label both ends of the cable.

To install the IC, align the right and left side of the
IC as shown.

Install the IC bracket into the right side of the
open slots. Using two screws from the slot covers
removed earlier, attach the right side of the
bracket as shown.

When the IC is flush with the card cage, push
the left ejector handle inward to fully seat the IC.
Using a #1 Phillips screwdriver, tighten the captive
screws in the left and right ejector handles.
