Configure Threshold Boundaries
Configure threshold boundaries to establish the behaviors that will trigger events.
NOTE: Only custom settings can be changed.
To configure threshold boundaries, perform the following steps:
1. Open a Telnet session to your switch.
2. Enter the fwConfigure command. A list of Fabric Watch classes appears as shown in Example
Display 2.

Select a class => : (1..11) [11]
NOTE: When the last line in a display indicates a selection is to be made, numbers in parenthesis are
the valid entries, and the number in brackets is the default selection.
3. Select the class of threshold to configure. For example, enter 5 for the E_Port class. A list of the
areas in that class appear as shown in Example Display 3.

4. Select the area of the threshold to configure. For example, enter 1 to configure the Link loss
threshold. A status display of that area and a list of configuration options appear as shown in
Example Display 4.
