4. Type the correct switch IP address in the IP Address field.

5. Click OK to save the new IP address, close the dialog box, and redefine the

switch to HAFM.

6. Click OK to close the Discover Setup dialog box and return to HAFM.

At HAFM master log, did the IP address associated with the switch change to the

new entry and did the Ethernet connection recover?

NO YES

↓ The switch-to-HAFM appliance connection is restored and appears

operational. Exit MAP.

An incorrect product type is defined to the HAFM appliance.

1. Right-click the product icon with a grey square and yellow exclamation mark

(representing the switch reporting the problem) at HAFM’s physical map. A

pop-up menu appears.

2. Click the Delete option from the pop-up menu. The HAFM Message dialog

box displays (Figure 24).
