Modify a Firmware Version Description

Use these steps to modify the description of an Edge Switch firmware version in

the library stored on the HAFM appliance hard drive:

1. At the HAFM appliance, open the HAFM application. The Products View

page displays.

2. Double-click the icon representing the Edge Switch for which the firmware

version description will be modified. The Hardware View page for the

selected Edge Switch displays.

3. Choose Maintenance > Firmware Library. The Switch Firmware Library

dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 48.

4. Choose the firmware version to be modified and click Modify. The Modify

Firmware Description dialog box displays, as shown in Figure 52.

5. Enter a modified description (up to 24 characters in length) for the firmware

version and click OK. It is recommended the description include the

installation date and text that uniquely identifies the firmware version.

6. The new description for the firmware version displays in the Switch Firmware

Library dialog box.

7. Click Close.
