Installation Tasks
This chapter describes tasks to install, configure, and verify operation
of the Sphereon 4500 Fabric Switch, SANpilot interface, and
rack-mount management server. The switch can be installed on a
table top, mounted in a McDATA FC-512 Fabricenter equipment
cabinet, or mounted in any standard 19-inch equipment rack.
Factory Defaults
Table 2-1 lists factory-set defaults for the Sphereon 4500 Switch.
Table 2-2 on page 2-2 lists factory-set defaults for the one rack unit
(1U) high, rack-mount management server.
