NOTE: The ED-5000 supports a maximum of 512 zones.
Parameters This command has two parameters:

config.zoning.addZone
Syntax addZone zoneName
Purpose This command adds a new (empty) zone to the zone set in the work
area.
NOTE: Changes are not activated on the switch until the
config.zoning.activateZoneSet command is issued.
NOTE: A zone set can have a maximum of 4096 zones.
NOTE: A switch or director can have a maximum of 1024 zone members in
all of its zones, except for the ED-5000, which allows a maximum of 512
zones.
Parameters This command has one parameter:
zoneName Specifies the name of the zone.
wwn The WWN of the member to be added to the
zone. The value of the WWN must be in
colon-delimited hexadecimal notation (for
example, AA:00:AA:00:AA:00:AA:00).
zoneName Specifies the name of the new zone. The
zoneName must contain 1–64 characters. Valid
characters are:
ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZabcdef
ghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz0123456789$-^_
Spaces are not permitted, and the first character
must be alphabetical.
