Message: Firmware fault.
Severity: Major.
Explanation: Switch firmware encountered an unexpected condition and dumped operating state information to FLASH
memory for retrieval and analysis. The dump file automatically transfers from the switch to the server, where it is
stored for later retrieval through the data collection procedure.
The switch performs a software reset, during which all attached Fibre Channel devices are momentarily
disrupted, log out, and log back in.
Action: Perform the data collection procedure and return the diskette to McDATA support personnel.
Event Data: Bytes 0 - 3 = fault identifier, least significant byte first.
