Probable Cause
Indicates that the number of invalid timestamps has changed. Invalid-timestamp violations indicate that a
packet with an invalid timestamp has been received from the primary FCS. When the primary fabric
configuration server (FCS) downloads a new configuration to other switches in the fabric, the packet is
tagged with a timestamp. The receiving switch compares this timestamp to its current time. If the difference
is too great, it rejects the packet. This counter keeps track of packets rejected due to invalid timestamps.
Recommended Action
