Probable Cause
Indicates that temperatures in the system have risen above the critical threshold. This message only occurs
on the SAN Switch 2/16V, SAN Switch 2/8V, and SAN Switch 2/32.
Recommended Action
Temperatures have probably caused damage to the switch and the system shuts down automatically. To
help prevent future problems, make sure that all the fans are working properly.
Run the tempShow command to verify proper switch temperatures. Refer to the hardware reference
manual for the temperature range of your switch.
Run the fanShow command to verify all the fans are working properly.
Make sure that the area is well ventilated and that the room temperature is within operational range of
your switch. Refer to the hardware reference manual for your switch for the operational temperature range.
