Probable Cause
Indicates that the number of times E_Ports have gone down has risen above the high boundary. E_Ports go
down each time you remove a cable or SFP. SFP failures also cause E_Ports to go down. E_Port downs
might be caused by transient errors.
Recommended Action
No action is required. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user
installation. Check both ends of the physical connection and verify that the SFP functions properly.

Probable Cause
Indicates that the number of times E_Ports have gone down has changed from a value outside of the
acceptable range to a value within the acceptable range. E_Ports go down each time you remove a cable
or SFP. SFP failures also cause E_Ports to go down. E_Port downs might be caused by transient errors.
Recommended Action
No action is required. Respond to this message as is appropriate to the particular policy of the end-user
installation.
