• R_RDY mode: Receiver-ready flow control mode. This is the Fibre Channel standard protocol, that uses
R_RDY primitive for flow control.
• DUAL_CR mode: Dual-credit flow control mode. In both of the previous modes, the buffer credits are
fixed, based on the port configuration information. In this mode, the buffer credits are negotiated as
part of ELP exchange. This mode also uses the R_RDY primitive for flow control.

Indicates that the system is low on memory and cannot allocate more memory for new operations. This is
usually an internal Fabric OS problem or file corruption. Description of memory need indicates how much
memory was being requested. The value could be any whole number.

Reboot or power cycle the switch.
