b. Position a cable so that the key (the ridge on one side of the cable
connector) is aligned with the slot in the SFP, and then insert the cable
into the SFP until the latching mechanism clicks.
Note Cables are keyed so that they can only be inserted with the correct
orientation. If a cable does not slide in easily, ensure it is correctly
oriented.
c. Repeat Steps 12a-b for the remaining ports.
d. Organize the cables as required.
13.Check the HP StorageWorks Core Switch 2/64 for switch and port status
by entering the following command at the telnet prompt:
switchShow
This command provides detailed information about the switch. For more

14.Check the fabric for ISLs, switch names, or other issues by entering the
following command at the telnet prompt:
fabricShow
This command provides general information about the fabric. For more
information about this command, refer to the hp StorageWorks fabric os
reference.
15.After all zoning configurations and other changes are complete, back up
the configuration by entering the following command at the telnet prompt:
configUpload
This command uploads the switch configuration to the server so that it is
available for downloading to a replacement switch if necessary. For
more information about this command, refer to the hp StorageWorks
fabric os reference.
