The Pair O peration window displays the following:
• Tree: Lists ports in the local storage system (
) . Below each port is the host groups ( ). If you
select aportora host group, the listdisplaysthe volumesfor theportorthe host group. You can
select only one port or one host group at one time. You cannot select two or more s imultaneously.
• Upper-right buttons: The following buttons appear in the upper-right corner of the window:

Display Filter: Displays the Display Filter window (see Figure 60 on page 126).
This window allows you to narrow the information in the list, so that the list displays
only the volumes that satisfy certain conditions. For detailed information, see
“Filtering Information in the List in the Pair Operation Window” on page 125.
• Export: Saves information about the volume pairs to a text file. For detailed information, see
“Saving Pair Status Information into a Text File”onpage126.
• Previous: The list can display up to 1,024 volume pairs simultaneously. If the number of volume
pairs exceeds 1,024, you can use the Previous and Next buttons to display the remaining
volume pairs in the list. The Previous button displays the previous 1,024 volume pairs in the list.
• Next: The list can display up to 1,024 volume pairs simultaneously. If the number of volume
pairs exceeds 1,024, you can use the Previous and Next buttons to display the remaining
volume pairs in the list. The Next button displays the next 1,024 volume p airs in the list.
• List: Displays the volumes in the local storage system. One row represents one volume.
By default, information in the list is arranged in the order of the port numbers. For volumes with
more than one p ath, each path is displayed in a separate row.
The m a ximum number of rows in the list is 1,024. If the number of volumes exceeds the number
of
rows, you can use the Previous and Next but tons to view i nformation about the volumes that
do not
appear in the list currently.
