If a failure o
ccurs and the Business Copy P-VOL is damaged in Figure 14 on page 56, take the
following st
eps to c opy data from the Continuous Access Journal secondary d ata volume to the
Business Copy P-VOL, so that data can be restored to the Business Copy P-VOL:
1. Execute the RAID Manager pairsplit -S command on the Business Copy pair to release the
pair
(see Fi
gure 15 on page 56).
2. Execute the RAID Manager horctakeover comma nd on the Continuous Access Journal pair to
reverse the copy direction and re-establish the pair (see Figure 16 on page 57).
3. Execute th
e
RAID Manager horctakeover command on the Continuous Access Journal
pair
to change the copy direction to the original direction a nd re-establish the pair (see
Figure 17 on page 57) .
4. Execute th
e
RAID Manager pairsplit -r comma nd on the Continuous Access Journal pair to
suspend
the pair (see Figure 18 on page 57).
5. Execute the RA ID Manager pa ircreate command on the Business Copy pair to perform copying
in the
reverse direction (see Figure 19 on pa ge 57).
6. Execute t
he
RAID Manager pairsplit -S com m and on the Business Copy pair to release the
pair
(see Figure 20 on page 58).
7. Execute the RAID Manager paircreate command on the Business Copy pair to perform copying
in the
original direction (see Figure 21 on page 58).
8. Execut

the RAID Manager pa irsplit -r command on the Business Copy pair to put the pair
in
PSUS status (see Figure 22 on page 58).
9. Execute the RAID Manager pairresync command on the Continuous Access Journal pair to
resync
