• To cancel a setting, select and right-click the setting and then select Cancel.
10. Select Apply to restore pair(s).
Note
: If an error occurs, the right-most column of the Preview list displays the error code. To
view detailed information about the error, right-click the error code and then select Error Detail.
An error message appears and gives you detailed information about the error.
1 1. In thelistofthe Pair Operations window, verify that the pair has been restored successfully.
If the pair
has been restored successfully, the status of the pair is COPY or PAIR.
12. To monitor the progress of restoring pair(s), click File, Refresh on the menu bar of the Remote
We b Console main window to upda te the information in the list, or use the Detaile d Information
window (see “Displaying Detailed Information about a Pair of Data Volumes” on page 131)
to monitor the detailed status of each pair.

The Pairr
esync window displays the following:
• Range: Allows you to specify the restore range. The default is LU if twoormorepairs in thesame
consistency group are selected. The default is Group if not.
• LU: Only the specified pair(s) will be restored.
• Group:A
ll
pairs in the same consistency group(s) as the selected pair(s) will be restored.
Note:
If
the
following two conditions are satis fied and you select App ly,awarningmessage will
be
displayed and processing cannot be continued:
• The Preview list contains two or more pairs belonging to the same consistency group.
• The Ran
ge
column displays Group forat least oneofthe abovepairs.
To
cont
inue processing, do either of the following:
• Ensure that the Range c olumn displays LU for all pairs in the same consistency group.
• In the Preview list, select all but one pair in the same consistency g roup, right-click the selected
pairs
,
and then select Delete.
• Priority: Allows you to specify the desired priority (1-256) (scheduling order) for the pair-restoring
operations.
Note:
If Range is Group, you cannot change the Priority option.
• DKC: Indicates the following about a remote storage system:
• The serial numb er with the LD KC number.
• The co
ntroller I D with the model name.
• The path type.
• Error Level: Allows you to specify the range used for splitting a pair when a failure occurs.
• Grou
p: If a failure occurs with a pair, all pairs in the consistency group where the pair
belongs will be split.
• LU: If a failure occurs with a pair, only the pair will be split.
Note
:
If Range is Group,you cannot change the Error Level option.
