Before Using Spreadsheets
Remote Web Console is required for spreadsheets. Perform the following operations in Remote
Web Console before using spreadsheets in Universal Replicator for Mainframe:
Create master journal groups (see “Reviewing Administrator Tasks for Managing Journals
(page 162))
Register the secondary storage system (see “Setup Procedure (When More Than One Primary
and Secondary Storage System are Used)” (page 144))
Create remote journal groups (see “Reviewing Administrator Tasks for Managing Journals
(page 162))
For detailed information about how to perform these operations in the Remote Web Console, see
“Configuring Storage Systems and Logical Paths” (page 142) and “Configuring Journal Groups”
(page 162).
