Calling the HDS Support Center
If you need to call the Hitachi Support Center, make sure to provide as much
information about the problem as possible, including:
The USP V Storage Navigator configuration information saved on diskette
using the FD Dump Tool (see the Storage Navigator User’s Guide)
The circumstances surrounding the error or failure
The exact content of any error messages displayed on the host system(s)
The TCz (or other) error code(s) displayed on the USP V Storage Navigator
The remote service information messages (R-SIMs) and the reference codes
and severity levels of the recent R-SIMs
