RCU Operation Window

The RCU Operation window (see Figure 18 on page 58) displays the MCU/RCU and port information,

and allows you to perform the Continuous Access RCU and port conﬁguration operations (see

“RCU Operations” on page 69).

To update the information on the RCU Operation window:

• Click another tab, and then click the RCU Operation tab.

• Click File, and then Refresh on the menu bar of the Remote We b Console main window.

• Select modify mode when you are in view mode.

• Click RCU Status.

• Close the RCU Status dialog box

The MCU/RCU or port information is a lso updated when you click the Apply button.

The RCU Operation window presents:

• Display buttons: allows you to select either the MCU&RCU display (default) or Port display for

the

RCU Operation window .

• Tree: When you sele ct MCU&RCU in the Display box, the tree displays the CUs of the connected

storage system. Select and double-click the desired CU to display the MCU/RCU information

for that CU. Select the desired RCU to display the SSID and path information for that RCU.

You can only select one CU or one RCU at a time. When you select Port in the Display box,

the

tree displays the channel adapters (CHAs) and port types of the connected storage system.

Select Subsystem to display all CHA/port information. Select the desired channel adapter or
