Op tional Operation Window

• Tree: Allows you to select Subsystem.

• Ac tivities List: Displays the storage system option settings (see

“Conﬁguring Storage System Options” on page 97).

• Preview

List: When you change the settings in the Optional Operation window, the Preview list

display

the changes. Here, the changes have not been applied to the storage system. If you

select the

Apply button, the changes will be applied to the storage system.

• Operation: Indicates the operation that will occur when you select Apply.

• Preview: The number to the left of the slash (/) indicates the number of items (that is, rows)

displayed in the Preview list.

mber to the right of the slash indicates the maximum number of items (that is, rows) that

can

be displayed in the Preview list.

• The Apply button: Applies the settings in the Preview list to the storage system.

• The C

ancel but ton: Cancels the settings in the Preview list.

: Information on the Optional Operation window will be updated when you do one of the following:

• Select another tab and then reselect the Optional O p eration tab.

• Click File, Refresh on the m enu bar of the Remote Web Console main window.

• Sel

ect the Apply button.

• Select modify mode when you are in view mode.
