NOTE: If you are using XP Command View Advanced Edition, proceed with step 9. If you
are using XP Remote Web Console, no other actions are required.
9. When you are finished configuring this MCU, exit the XP Continuous Access main pane, and
disconnect the XP Command View Advanced Edition management station from the disk array.
10. Repeat step 4 — step 9 for each disk array that will function as an XP Continuous Access
MCU. After you configure MCUs, register RCUs, and configure XP Continuous Access async
options and consistency groups, you are ready to begin XP Continuous Access volume pair
operations.
Combining XP Continuous Access with other data management operations
Some volumes used by non-XP Continuous Access and non-XP Continuous Access Async software
can also be used as XP Continuous Access and XP Continuous Access Async P-VOLs and S-VOLs.
