PSUE
(pair suspended-error)
(see Table 7 on
page 36 for suspend
types)
Data volume pair is not synchronized because the
primary or secondary array suspended the pair
due to an error condition. For Continuous Access
XP Journal pairs, the primary and secondary
arrays keep track of any journal data discarded
during the suspension operation. The primary
array keeps track of updated primary data
volume tracks while the pair is suspended.
For Continuous Access XP Journal pairs, if the
primary array detects a Continuous Access XP
Journal suspension condition (see ”Continuous
Access XP Journal suspension conditions” on
page 36), the primary array changes the
secondary data volume’s status to PSUE.
For Continuous Access XP Journal pairs, if the
primary array detects a Continuous Access XP
Journal suspension condition (see ”Continuous
Access XP Journal suspension conditions” on
page 36), the secondary array changes the
secondary data volume’s status to PSUE. The
primary array detects this (if path status is normal)
and changes primary data volume’s status to
PSUS.

PFUL Continuous Access XP Journal monitors the total
amount of data in the journal volume. If the
amount of data exceeds the threshold (80%), the
pair status changes from COPY or PAIR to PFUL.
The write data that inflows is monitored during the
specified time (Data Overflow Watch). You can
use Command View XP or XP Remote Web
Console to set the monitoring time period (the
default is 60 seconds).
NOTE: RAID Manager XP displays the PFUL
status. Command View XP or XP Remote Web
Console displays this status as PAIR.
Read / Write Read Only
PFUS If the time period exceeds the specified
monitoring time period, the pair status changes
from PFUL to PFUS, and the pair is suspended.
NOTE: RAID Manager XP displays the PFUS
status. Command View XP or XP Remote Web
Console displays this status as PSUS.
Read / Write Read Only;
Read / Write, if
write option is
enabled (Disable
is the default).
SSWS Data can be written to the secondary data volume
that is reassigned from the primary data volume
during resynchronization processing (Takeover).
NOTE: RAID Manager XP displays the SSWS
status. Command View XP or XP Remote Web
Console displays this status as PSUS or PSUE.
Read Only Read / Write
