3. If a previous MxDB for SQL Server 3.4.3 hotfix is installed on the server, use the
Add/Remove Progra
ms c ontrol panel to remove it. Reboot the server when you
are requested to do so.
4. Copy the MxDB_SQL_3.4.3_hotfix3.<arch>.msi file to the ser ver.
5. Double click the MxDB_SQL_3.4.3_hotfix3.<arch>.msi file and run the
installer.
6. Reboot the server .
7. Enable the Matrix Server service. Use the Microsoft Management Console Servic es
snap-in or the following command:
sc config matrixserver start= auto
8. Start Matrix Server on the server. Use the Microsoft M an a gement Console Services
snap-in or the following command:
net start matrixserver
Remove MxDB for SQL Server hotfix3
To remove the hotfix, comp lete the following steps on each server:
1. Stop the matrixserver ser vice.
2. Use the Add/Remove Programs control panel to remove the hotfix.
3. Reboot the server .
