Fixes
MxDB for SQ L Server 3.4.3 hotfix 3 resolves the following issue:
– Defect 19763. The Registry Replic ator needed to be stopped before a Vir tual SQL
Server instance began its recovery procedure.
The hotfix is cumula tive and in clud es the fixes provided with earlier Mx D B for SQL
Server ho tfi xes:
– Defect 16397. A memo ry leak existed in the ADSfilter.
– Defect 16469. Microsoft SQL Service instances that were installed using a
case-sensitive collation cou ld n ot be virtualized.
Prerequisites
MxDB for SQ L Server 3.4.3 on a supported version of Windows Server 20 03.
Installation i nstructions
To install the hotfix, complete the following steps on each server:
1. Stop Matrix Se rver on the se rver. Use the Microsoft Manag ement Console Services
snap-in or the following command:
net stop matrixserver
2. Disable the Matrix Server ser vice on the server. Use the Microsoft Managem ent
Console Services snap-in or the following command:
sc config matrixserver start= disabled
