A client can then connect to the databases by specifying the server alias on the
Connect to SQL Server dialog.
Rehost a Virtual SQL Server
The “Rehost” option can be used to change the primary node for a Virtual SQL Server.
The Rehost option is available on the HP PolyServe Management Console and can
be accessed using either of these methods:
• On the Applications tab, right-click on the Virtual SQL Server (in the Name column)
and then select Rehost. (Or use drag and drop.)
• On the Servers or Virtual Hosts tab, locate the Virtual SQL Server, right-click, and
select Rehost.
