Specify the following information on the Add Product dialog.
Product Name. Enter a name to identify this product. The name can contain only
alphanumeric characters.
Product Description. Enter anything you want to identify this update product.
Type. Select either Service Pack or Hotfix.
Version. Select SQL Server 2005 or 2008.
File Name. Type the name of the service pack or hotfix to be installed or click Browse
to locate it.
NOTE:
Be sure to specify a valid name. If the name is invalid and the operating system does
not respond, the wizard will appear to hang.
Click Next to go to the next dialog.
“Installation Credentials” dialog
This dialog asks for the credentials of the user account that will be used to run the
installation.
