the interval of time, in seconds, at which the monitor probes the file share. The default
setting is 10 seconds.
Servers: Select the servers on which the Matrix File Share should be configured.
Using the arrows, move the appropriate servers from the Available Servers column
to the Selected Servers column.
When you click OK, the Matrix File Share appears on the Servers and Applications
tabs on the PolyServe Management Console.
NOTE:
If a Matrix File Share is configured to allow sharing its subdirectories, an asterisk
(*) appears at the end of the path for the Matrix File Share (for example, C:\testfs1\*
in the example below). The shared subdirectories are not displayed on the Servers
or Applications tabs; however, alerts will be displayed if the Matrix File Share monitor
detects a problem with a shared subdirectory.
On the following Servers tab, three Matrix File Shares are configured on each server.
On each server, the Matrix File Share monitor is probing the health of the file share.
(In the example, all file shares are UP.)
The Applications tab lists the Matrix File Shares under the associated applications.
Following is the Applications view of the above configuration.
