1. Open Component Services: Start > Programs > Administrative Tools
2. Expand the Component Services folder and browse to the My Computer folder
3. Right click the My Computer folder to open the Properties dialog.
4. Select the MSDTC tab.
5. Ensure that Use local coordinator is checked and then click Security Configuration. For more
information, see “Actions when configuring the Virtual MSDTC Service” on page 81.
