Install HP PolyServe Software for Windows File
Serving
Prerequisites
Before installing this product, you will need to install PolyServe Matrix Server on each
node in the matrix.
Installation procedure
HP PolyServe Software for Windows File Serving must be installed on each server
in the matrix that will be providing file shares. To install the product, insert the product
CD into the CD drive or go to the location where you have downloaded the software.
Then right-click the file MxFS_CIFS_4.0.0.<xxxx>.<arch>.msi and select Run
as Administrator to start the Installation Wizard.
Install hotfixes
Matrix Server and any associated products (HP PolyServe Software for Microsoft
SQL Server and HP PolyServe Software for Windows File Serving) must be installed
before any product hotfixes are installed.
