2 Event messages
This chapter lists alert messages and corrective actions for Matrix Server, HP PolyServe
Software for Microsoft SQL Server, and HP PolyServe Software for Windows File
Sharing.
Message and Corrective ActionID
License is invalid. Matrix Server will be terminated in <number> hour(s) <number>
minute(s).
Action. The ClusterPulse process has recognized a license violation. This message
will be repeated every 15 minutes. After two hours, Matrix Server will time out
and ClusterPulse will terminate. Matrix Server can be started again, but this process
will continue. Contact HP Support to obtain a valid license or for assistance with
installing your license correctly.

License error resolved.
Action. None. Alert 101 is resolved.

Matrix Server license expires on <date>.
Action. Your evaluation license is expiring on the specified date. These warnings
start one week before the expiration date and are repeated periodically.

License warning resolved.
Action. None. Alert 103 is resolved.

Virtual host IP <address> conflict. Network address <network> is replying to
pings.
Action. Determine which server owns the IP address assigned to the virtual host.
If the server owning the address is configured in the matrix but Matrix Server is
down, reboot the server to get the operating system to release the IP address.
Otherwise, another device reachable on the network already owns the IP address.
Delete this virtual host and recreate it using a different IP address.
