4.0.0 HP Polyserve Matrix Server Event Notification Guide (T5392-96053, March 2010)
Message and Corrective ActionID
IllegalDisks: One or more imported disks has more than 31 partitions. Matrix
Server only supports 31 partitions per disk. Some volume operations may fail on
partitions higher than this limit. See the Administrator's Guide for further
information.
Action. As of Matrix Server 3.4, the maximum number of partitions on a disk or
LUN is limited to 31. If you upgraded to Matrix Server 3.4, you may have imported
disks or LUNs with more than 31 partitions, and may have created dynamic
volumes using those higher-numbered partitions. The higher-numbered partitions
will continue to work correctly; however, you should be aware of the following:
• A new volume cannot include subdevices having partition numbers above 31.
Existing volumes cannot be extended to include the higher-numbered partitions.
• You will not be able to take a hardware snapshot of partitions with numbers
above 31.
• The Alert will remain until the disks containing more than 31 partitions are
deported.
13917
Too many partitions on disk resolved.
Action. None. Alert 13917 is resolved.
13918
VolImportError: unable to access imported volume <volume>.
Action. Check the state of all disks containing subdevices included in the volume.
If no problems are found, reboot the node.
13921
Unable to access imported volume <volume> resolved.
Action. None. Alert 13921 is resolved.
13922
<server> is unable to join the matrix because the fencing information it provided
does not appear to be valid for this matrix configuration. As a result, this server
will not be allowed to mount filesystems. This problem may be due to a
configuration error or fencing hardware problem.
Action. Check the fencing hardware and the fencing configuration for the server.
13923
Invalid fencing information from <server> resolved.
Action. None. Alert 13923 is resolved.
