NOTE:
If the CIFS client workstation is running a different version of the Windows operating
system, contact Microsoft to obtain the client pack.
The client pack adds a “Previous Version” tab to the Windows Explorer Properties
window for the virtual CIFS share. This tab lists the shadow copies, or previous
versions, of the filesystem that are currently available. Users can select the appropriate
version, view the contents, and copy or restore the needed files.

“Introduction to Shadow Copies of Shared Folders.” (The “Setup for Servers” section
