mpdump – save membership partition data
Synopsis
/opt/hpcfs/lib/mpdump
/opt/hpcfs/lib/mpdump [-v] -F -X
/opt/hpcfs/lib/mpdump [-v] -f <outputfile> -x <outputfile>
Description
The mpdump utility backs up the membership partition data to a file and/or the screen.
The command can also be used to back up the mxds datastore. When mpdump is
run with no options, the data is output to the screen.
The options are:
-F
Send the data to the default membership partition backup file, /var/opt/hp-
cfs/run/MP.backup. This file can subsequently be used as input to the
mpimport utility if needed. If there is an existing backup file, that file will be
saved as /var/opt/hpcfs/run/MP.backup.prev.
-f <outputfile>
Send the data to the specified output file.
-v
Output the data to both the screen and the file.
-X
Back up the mxds datastore from the membership partitions to the default backup
file, /var/opt/hpcfs/run/MP.backup.
-x <output-file>
Back up the mxds datastore from the membership partitions to the specified
backup file.
