2 Cluster commands
HP Scalable NAS File Serving Software includes several commands that can be
helpful for administrators managing a HP Scalable NAS cluster. Other commands
provide diagnostic information and should be used only under the direction of HP
personnel. Certain other commands are used internally and should not be run directly.
The commands are located in the following directories:
• /opt/hpcfs/bin (symbolic link to /opt/polyserve/bin)
• /opt/hpcfs/sbin (symbolic link to /opt/polyserve/sbin)
• /opt/hpcfs/tools (symbolic link to /opt/polyserve/tools)
• /etc/init.d
destroypsfs – destroy a PSFS filesystem
Synopsis
/opt/hpcfs/sbin/destroypsfs <device>
Description
This command removes the specified PSFS filesystem from the volume on which it is
located.
diskupdate – reattempt to access a disk
Synopsis
/opt/hpcfs/tools/diskupdate
Description
This command should be run only at the request of HP personnel.
