DescriptionAction
Dynamic volumes can include multiple disks and are used for
PSFS filesystems. See Create a dynamic volume, page 105.
Create dynamic volumes.
Select the dynamic volumes to be used for each filesystem and
configure the appropriate options such as block size and disk
quotas. See Create a filesystem, page 125.
Create PSFS filesystems.
Mount the new filesystems with the appropriate mount options.
See Mount a filesystem, page 132.
Mount filesystems.
If the snapshot feature is configured on the cluster, review the
procedure to create snapshots. See Create a snapshot or
snapclone, page 214.
Review snapshot feature if
configured.
Configure NFS:
The Export Group lists the PSFS filesystems that will be expor-

Configure backups and replication:
Prepare to back up HP Scalable NAS. See Back up and restore
the cluster configuration, page 61.
Configure backup mechan-
isms.
Configure automatic replication of the data in your PSFS
filesystems. See Chapter 14, page 249.
Configure replication.
Configure cluster security:
