Modify the Configuration
TochangetheconfigurationofaVirtualFileShare,selectthatVirtualFile
ShareontheServers,VirtualHosts,orApplicationstab,right‐click,and
selectProperties.Youcanthenmodifytheconfigurationasnecessary.
YoucanalsoenterthefollowingattheCommandPrompt:
mx vfs_share update [--path <path>] [arguments]

Disable or Enable a Virtual File Share Monitor
Whenamonitorisdisabled,thehealthoftheserverisaffectedinthe
samemannerasafailureofthemonitor’sprobeoperation.IfthePolicy
configurationof themonitoriseither
AUTORECOVERor
NOAUTORECOVER,theClusterPulseprocesswillattempttofailoverthe
VirtualCIFSServertoabackupnode.Ifabackupnodeisnotavailableor
ifthePolicyconfigurationofthemonitoris
NOFAILOVER,theservicewill
remainupontheoriginalnode.
TodisableaVirtualFileSharemonitoronaparticularserver,selectiton
theServerstab,right‐click,andselectDisable.(OntheApplicationstab,
right‐clickinthecellcorrespondingtotheVirtualFileShareandserver.)
Toreenable
themonitor,selectitonthePolyServeManagementConsole,
right‐click,andselectEnable.
