thenrightclicktodisplayamenulistingtheavailableoptions.
Modify the Configuration
Tomodify theconfigurationofaVirtualCIFS
Server,selectthatVirtual
CIFSServeronthePolyServeManagementConsole,rightclick, and
selecteitherPropertiesorRehost.Youcanaddorremoveinterfacesfrom
theVirtualCIFSServerconfigurationandcanreordertheinterfaces.If
youdesignateanewprimaryinterface,theservicewillautomaticallybe
movedto
thatinterface.
YoucanalsochangetheconfigurationattheCommandPrompt:
mx vfs update [--policy autofailback|nofailback] [--application
<application name>] <ip> <name> ALL_SERVERS <primary network
interface>|<network interface> ...
ThiscommandallowsyoutoaddorremoveinterfacesfromtheVirtual
CIFSServerconfigurationandtoreordertheinterfaces.Ifyouspecifya
differentprimaryinterfaceand‐‐policyissettoautofailback,the
commandwillautomatically movetheservicetothenewprimary.
If‐‐policyissetto
nofailback,theupdatecommandwillnotmovethe
servicetothenewprimary.Youwillthenneedtousethevfsmove
commandshownbelowtomovetheservice.
mx vfs move <ip> <name> <target network interface>
