Configure Matrix window, where you can perform matrix-wide
configuration operations. When you click on the Connect option and, if
requested, supply the necessary authentication information, the
Management Console window appears. See “The PolyServe Management
Console” on page 30 for more information about the Management
Console.
Authentication Parameters and Bookmarks
When you connect to a matrix, you can optionally supply a user name
and password. When you click the “As User” button, the Authentication
Parameters dialog asks for this information.
User: Type the name of the user who will be accessing the matrix.
Password: Type the user’s password. If you do not want to be prompted
for the password again, click the “Remember this password” checkbox.
(For the password to be saved, you will also need to create a bookmark.)
Add to bookmarks: Click this checkbox to create a bookmark for this
connection. When you click OK on the Authentication Parameters dialog,
you can configure the bookmark on the Add Bookmark dialog.
