3.6.1 HP PolyServe Matrix Server Administration Guide (T5392-96018, August 2008)
Chapter 12: Configure Security Features 154
Remove Roles From an Account
Use this command:
mx account removerole --form <ID|NAME> --type <USER|GROUP>
<account> <role> ...
The --form option specifies whether you are entering the name or ID of
the account (
NAME is the default). The --type option specifies whether the
account is for a user or group or is unknown (
GROUP is the default).
List Roles Assigned to an Account
Use this command:
mx account listroles [--form <ID|NAME>] [--type <GROUP|UNKNOWN
|USER>] [--effective] [--noHeaders] [--csv] [--showBorder]
[<account>]
The --type option specifies whether the account is for a user or group or is
unknown (
GROUP is the default). The --form option specifies whether you
are entering the name or ID of the account (
NAME is the default). The
--effective option displays the effective roles for the account. Without this
option, the command lists only the roles directly assigned to the account.
Matrix Server Audit Trail
Matrix Server provides an audit trail of operations that change the
configuration or state of the matrix. Operations such as mxcollect that
consume significant resources but do not change the state of the matrix
are also logged.
Audit Log Messages
The audit log messages appear in the system event log. The messages are
global and appear in the event log on all servers. The log messages
specify the operation performed and identify the user who initiated the
action. See “Matrix Event Viewer” on page 157 for information about
viewing the messages.
