Quick Start Checklist
The following checklist is intended for new installations of Matrix Server
and includes typical steps to configure the matrix.
Matrix Configuration Steps
The following checklist assumes that the installation and configuration
steps described in the PolyServe Matrix Server Installation Guide have been
completed

Set up administrative networks for Matrix Server
Configure network
interfaces.
Specify the networks that you prefer to use for
Matrix Server administrative traffic. You can also
disable interfaces for virtual hosts. See “Configure
Network Interfaces” on page 57.

Prepare PSFS filesystems
Import disks into the
matrix.
The disks to be used for PSFS filesystems must be
imported to enable the matrix to control access to
them. See “Import SAN Disks” on page 67.

