Install SQL Server 2000 Service Packs

Use this procedure to install a SQL Server 2000 service pack. To start the

Multi-Node Upgrade Wizard, select Tools > Upgrade SQL Server on the

PolyServe Management Console.

The menu in the left pane of the wizard lists the dialogs included in the

installation. You can click on any dialog to open it. When you complete a

dialog, the wizard places a checkmark in the box preceding the dialog.

On the Welcome window, click Next.

Use this dialog to create a new upgrade “product” or select an existing

upgrade product. An upgrade product provides instructions for

installing a particular SQL Server service pack. The wizard saves the

product definition, allowing you to use it again to upgrade additional

SQL Server instances. You can also edit an existing product to change its

configuration and can remove a product that is no longer needed.
