6. On the Security Configuration tab, the following Security Settings

should be checked:

• Network DTC Access

• Allow Remote Clients

• Allow Remote Administration

• Allow Inbound

• Allow Outbound

• Enable XA Transactions

7. Select OK to commit the changes.

Set Up Local Nodes to Use Remote DTC

When another node is used to host DTC, every local node participating in

a Virtual SQL Server must be configured manually. Complete the

following steps on each local node:

1. Open Component Services: Start > Programs > Administrative Tools.

2. Expand the Component Services folder and browse to the My

Computer folder.
