Appendix B: Hosting Configurations for MS DTC 136

To enable DTC on the local node, it must be configured to accept

incoming transactions and perform outgoing transactions on the

network. The following instructions are a recommended method of

configuration, although your application needs may differ.

1. Open Component Services via Start > Programs > Administrative

Tools.

2. Expand the Component Services folder and browse to the My

Computer folder.

3. Right-click on the My Computer folder to open its Properties dialog.
