11359 Registry changes can be lost when a Virtual SQL Server

running on a backup node is placed in maintenance mode

If a Virtual SQL Server is running on a backup node when it is

placed in maintenance mode, the virtual registry used by MxDB

for SQL Server will also be on the backup node. Any changes

made to the original registry on the primary node will not be

updated to the virtual registry and will be lost.

To avoid this problem, ensure that the Virtual SQL Server is

running on the primary node before placing the Virtual SQL

Server into maintenance mode. The virtual registry will then be

updated appropriately.

Microsoft Management Console fails during SQL Server

failover

If a SQL Server failover occurs while SQL Server Enterprise

Manager is connected, the Microsoft Management Console

(MMC) fails. Restart Enterprise Manager to continue operations.

Intermittent issue when installing SQL 2005 on 64-bit systems

Occasionally, an error has been observed when installing SQL

Server 2005 on 64-bit platforms. This error occurs with and

without PolyServe Matrix Server.

If this error is encountered, we recommend contacting Microsoft

Support. The error summary is included below:
