8. Enable Matrix Server and the psd driver:

mxservice -install

psdcoinst -install

9. Reboot the server to return the psd driver to the driver stack.

10. When the system is rebooted, Matrix Server will still be disabled in the

Windows Services Control Panel. Re-enable it for Automatic startup if

desired.

11. Start Matrix Server (or wait until the next reboot).

net start matrixserver

Change the Fencing Method

To change the fencing method, complete these steps:

1. Stop Matrix Server on all servers in the matrix.

2. Open the PolyServe Management Console Login window, enter the

button on the Login window.

3. On the Configure Matrix window, select the Fencing tab and then

configure the appropriate fencing method. See Chapter 2 in the

PolyServe Matrix Server Installation Guide for more information about

this tab.

4. Click Apply (on the bottom of the Configure Matrix window) to install

the new configuration on the server and answer Yes when you are

asked if you want to start the matrix service.

5. Go to the Matrix Wide Configuration tab and export the new

configuration to the other servers.

6. Start Matrix Server on the remaining servers.
