• locked (lock is corrupt, will repair)
The host on which mxsanlk was run holds the lock. The SANlock was
corrupted but will be repaired.
If a membership partition cannot be accessed, use the mx config mp set
command or the mprepair utility to correct the problem.
Depending on the status of the SDMP process, when you invoke mxsanlk
you may see one of the following messages:
Checking for SDMP activity, please wait...
Still trying...
The SDSMP is inactive at this host.
The SDMP appears to be inactive at this host.
If the SDMP process is not responding on the host, wait a few seconds
and retry the command. If the command continues to fail, shut down the
matrix and then restart it. This step should restart the SDMP process. If
you continue to have problems, contact HP Support.
Manage Membership Partitions
Matrix Server provides the following utilities for managing membership
partitions, including adding new partitions, replacing existing partitions,
and resilvering corrupt partitions.
• The Storage Settings tab on the Configure Matrix window contains
options to add, repair, or replace membership partitions. These
options can be used while the matrix is either online or offline.
However, when the matrix is running, only the operations listed
below can be performed. The remove option can be used only when
Matrix Server is offline on all nodes.
•The mx config mp commands can be used to add, repair, or replace
membership partitions. These commands can be used while the
matrix is either online or offline, with the limitations described below
for online operations.
•The mprepair command can be used to display information about
membership partitions and to perform all operations affecting
membership partitions. Matrix Server must be offline on all nodes
when this command is used.
